Heya!
This my first post on here for a while as I have been super busy recently with GCSE's and going on holiday to different places. But as well as that I have also moved my blog over to abbeymariex.blogspot.com which is where I'll posting from now on if you would like to keep on reading my posts still.

The To Do List
This is just like a bucket list, which, I know I have done before on here but this is a bigger, better list that I want to share with you all!
- Go down under to Australia - after watching I'm a Celeb for so many years on the telly I am buzzing about the idea to visit the country!
- Jump over the pond to the land of the USA - I want to visit so many states in America such as California, New York, Florida and Boston. And I definitely want to go to Disney!
- Visit the Grand Canyon - I would love to visit many natural wonders of the world and the Grand Canyon is one of them!
- Visit Nigara Falls - another natural wonder I would love to visit!
- Cuddle a koala bear- I just think koala bears are so adorable and cute. I think it would be an amazing thing to do whilst down under!
- Watch a sunrise - I have forever been watching sunsets but have never sat down and properly watched a is partly due to the fact that I am NOT a morning person. But one day I am determined to get up and watch one! I might even just stay up all night to watch it happen!
- See the Northern Lights - I have an ambition to travel the world and see absolutely EVERYTHING possible. The Northern Lights always look incredible in pictures or on the telly and I would really love to see them in real life!
- Watch a solar eclipse - the idea seems fascinating to me and I have seen them on the telly before and really want to experience it in person!
- Fly in a hot air balloon - I love seeing the world from above its one of the reasons why I love flying! A hot air balloon looks like an incredible experience!
- Fly in a helicopter- looks so cool and seems like so much fun! I must admit it was another one which was influenced by I'm a celebrity!
- Go snorkelling in Australia - I would love to be able to witness what goes on under the sea and this is one way I would love to experience it!
- Swim with dolphins - I have always loved animals and have had pets throughout my life. I find dolphins really cute and would love to see them up close!
- Get 200,000 views on this blog - I love blogging and it is an absolute passion of mine which I would love to continue
- Go to the Bikini hotel in Berlin - I heard about this place on a fashion and lifestyle blog "Its Thursday Tho" which is written by Betsy Blue English. It looks amazing and I've always wanted to visit berlin as well!
- Run the London marathon - Love the idea of a challenge and for me the London marathon is the ultimate challenge!
- Do something for charity - It is my wish to help out others that are less fortunate than myself.

Russell Howard world tour weekend
Hey everyone!
I have finally got a new blog post for you all today! (Sorry about that!) If you saw my twitter, instagram or snapchat last weekend you would have noticed that I was in Nottingham last weekend. That was because I had tickets to see my favourite comedian Russell Howard in Nottingham's motorpoint arena for his Round the World tour. I had an amazing weekend and was just what I needed after such a stressful period of time. (it hasn't let up quite yet though. This past week I've had drama moderations and this week coming I have mock exams in English, maths and chemistry)
Our Russell Howard tickets were for Saturday the 25th so I drove up earlier that day and checked into my hotel room and dumped my luggage down. Then it was time for shopping! I made a few purchases in Lush, Primark and New look that day and I will show you them in a collective haul I will do very soon. (and I mean soon Anna!)
For dinner that day I ended up in Frankie&Bennies which I love and shared chicken wings and calamari with my mum for starter and for main I had the New York chicken burger. It was so good and wish I had more. (I always do! I love my food!)
Then it was time to head to the motorpoint arena. The date I went was actually and extra added date so I expected it to be a little bit empty but it was packed! The arena capacity is 10,000 and there were 8,000 in the audience on the Saturday night! As you may have seen on my social media Russell performed in the round and had me laughing all night long! I loved every single second and quite frankly haven't found a stand up so funny in all my life! It just shows you how talented Russell really is! I would see him again in a heartbeat!
The next day was mothers day and for my mum I got her a picture frame with a picture with the two of us in. I also did a bit more shopping and wandering around the shops before going home and having to revise for all my exams.
I had the best weekend and totally wish I had more dates for the tour! If you want me to vlog the next time I have one of these weekends please let me know! Also don't forget to follow me on her and on twitter, insta and snapchat (@Abbey_Mariexx)
Bye for now!

2016 beauty favourites
Hey!
2016 has now ended and 2017 has begun and as I know you all love these type of posts, I thought I would tell you my favourite beauty products of 2016. I have quite a few to talk about so therefore expect a super-lengthy post!
My first favourite is one that I first purchased in May last year and it is the revolution highlighter palette. I absolutely love this palette to death and would never think of buying another high street/drugstore highlighter. It is such great value for what it is. 3 highlighters for £8! With 3 highlighters you have the freedom to change your makeup look often and it makes it more fun and experimental, which is what makeup should be!

With 3 highlighters you have the freedom to change your makeup look often and it makes it more fun and experimental, which is what makeup should be!
Another product that was a favourite of mine last year was the Match Perfection foundation by Rimmel. I got through quite a few bottles of this last year to say the least and is by far my favourite drugstore foundation! Although this foundation is a light coverage it is buildable. I personally think it is best applied with a damp beauty blender if you want a heavier coverage and a dry beauty blender if you want a lighter coverage. It is also great value at only £7.99!
My next favourite is the red must perfume by the Body Shop. This perfume smells absolutely gorgeous and is very reasonably priced for what it smells like. However, the scent is quite strong which is not for everyone. Despite this, it is suitable for all ages, young and old. It's a great scent for a night out!
Now its time for a few high end favourites. The first of them is the cremesheen Pure Zen lipstick by M.A.C. Although it is pricey as it is high end it is very pretty worn and feels absolutely gorgeous. As well as that this lipstick is suitable for day and night, especially for spring.
Urban Decay's Naked Skin Foundation is my next favourite of 2016. This foundation is an extremely light coverage but, unlike the Match Perfection foundation isn't buildable. However, it smells absolutely gorgeous! Personally, I think it looks really good with a real techniques expert face brush.
I have also loved Urban Decay's Naked Flushed palette. Personally, I think this is amazing value for a high end product as it gives you a highlighter, blusher and bronzer for only £23! However, this may be pricey to some for the same reason I mentioned earlier, it's a high end product. This palette gives you a really good contour and looks stunning when worn. The highlighter never fails to look blindingly stunning on to me.
One more high end favourite is the benefit roller lash mascara. This mascara is by favourite one and is totally worth every penny of the £19.50 you have to pay! The roller lash mascara makes my lashes look really long and practically makes my curlers redundant! The best mascara I've ever found and trust me, I've tried a few! Worth every penny!
My final favourite from the high end section is the Weirdo cream lipstick from, yes again, Urban Decay! This lipstick is similar to Pure Zen in the way that it is perfect for spring. But, it is a lot more pigmented and is more suitable for day time than night time in my own humble opinion. (which is what this blog is all about really!)
Now back to drugstore favourites and one product I have definitely mentioned previously is the Revlon Colourstay eyeshadow palette in moonlit. This palette is neutral yet has a bit of an impact, depending on how much of the product you apply. And I have never seen a eyeshadow palette last so well for so long. It is my go to palette if I'm not sure what colour to wear on my eyes. Definitely worth rave reviews and the money you pay!
Next is something I feel that every girl (or guy) needs in their beauty kit is a beauty blender. I know that there are several of these around on the market and personally, I've been using the egg shaped beauty blender from Superdrug, which is one of the main beauty/drug stores in the UK. I do love the effect this gives with my base makeup, especially with Rimmel's Match Perfection foundation. However, it does take forever to dry after washing, so make sure you will not be needing this for a few days after washing!
So that is it for my 2016 beauty favourites! I hope you have all enjoyed this post and make sure you follow me on twitter, instagram and snapchat! (@Abbey_Mariexx) If you would like to see any posts in the future let me know! Also make sure you follow me here on this blog!

Looking forward to 2017
Heyya!
Happy New Year everyone! I've had a few weeks off from the blog due to my life being absolutely mental last month! After a great Christmas and a mad and quite messy but fun NYE I'm back with a few new posts. I have a busy year ahead to say the least and I'm going to share with you some of the things I want to do this year with you lot. So here I go...
First of all, I would like to get fit and loose weight. And any of you who were around when I did my "New year, New me" post would know that I said the same thing last year. Now is the time I have to admit, that didn't happen. To be brutally honest, it went the other way and I put weight on! (Eek!) Hopefully, by admitting this on here I might actually do what I intend to this year.
Also, I would like to be more sociable. I was a bit of a recluse at times last year and would like to change that. I have a movie night in the 20th with my friends and would love to organise more things this year! I would also like to keep in touch with a few people I lost contact with last year.
Next, I would really like to have fun. Although I have a busy year ahead I would love to fit in lots of fun things such as my movie night. I also have tickets to a Union J gig next month with friends which I am looking forward to!
As well as all of this, (I am NO WAY going to fit everything in!) I would like to finally learn to not give a damn about what people think of me. I have my friends and what they think of me is what matters. No one else's opinion does. Recently, I've become more and more insecure about myself, I'm not sure why but I would absolutely love to get rid of this feeling.
I would also like to do well in my exams. I have my final GCSE's coming up in May and June and I would love to do really well in them. Though this will not only take hard work and determination but also a lot of blood sweat and tears. I'm prepared though. Well, I think I am...
That's everything I want to achieve this year. Whether I will achieve it all or not is a different matter. (To be brutally honest, I have no idea whatsoever if I will!) But I will let you know if I will! For now, that's all!
