My time in year 10

Hi!

Its finally summer and that means the end of another academic year. I've just finished year 10 and thought I would talk to you lot about a few things that have happened this academic year. I've mentioned a few of these things on my other post "10 things I've learned in year 10" which you can check out.

First of all I made new friends this year. In September I was in a position where I didn't have many friends and had just come out of an old one. I was trying hanging out with different people and I just couldn't find the right people. Luckily, in January I found the right group and I'm so glad I did!

Another thing that happened was that I met Union J again for the second time. (I know, so school related!) It was at a gig and I absolutely loved it! Unfortunately after "I'm a celeb" George left which was sad but he has been replaced by Casey Johnson form Stereo Kicks who were on X Factor 2014.

During year 10 I also completed coursework for my GCSE's. I tried my best with this and I really hope I've done well with it. It was hard but I'm on the other side! I've still got a little bit more to do but it's mostly done! I just hope I've done well so far with the things I've done already.

I also had a heck of a lot of fun in year 10! I went to Nottingham, saw Little Mix live, saw Union J live and met them, met Rylan (I'll give ya'll a post on that soon!) and had a lorra fun with m friends.

Overall, I've had a great time in year 10 in all aspects. (Well, apart from school itself, that's a bore!) The only thing is that next year is year 11 and that means GCSE's and I'm not looking forward to the workload!

10 things I've learnt in year 10...

Hi!

As I've just finished year 10 I thought I would share 10 things I've learnt this year. I will also put up a post going into detail on a few things I've done this academic year. Academic and non-academic. Have fun reading!

1. Times can get tough. But they don't last forever and there is light at the end of the tunnel.
2. Friends pop up when you least expect it.
3. Work hard, then play harder.
4. Always revise for your exams. ALWAYS!
5. No, you can't always see the boy band. School, unfortunately does come first sometimes.
6. When you do get to see the boy band, make the most of it. You never know what's going to happen.
7. Go to as many gigs as you can. But make sure you do well at school.
8. Friends are important
9. Don't let your height affect you
10. The people who were once your tormentors will one day be irrelevant.

These are just some of the things that I have learnt in year 10. Thanks for reading!

Little Update!

Heya!

This is just a quick post to apologise for being so slack with my updates. I've been so busy and tired to actually post. I also haven't been in the right mindset.  However, now I'm back to the right mindset for blogging. I'm also going to be sticking to a schedule this summer. Thanks for reading and sticking around. I'll be back soon!

A day at Westfield...

Heya!

Firstly, I need to apologise for being so slack with my blog posts lately. I've been so busy with exams and school work recently that I haven't had time to write a blog post nor have I been in the right mindset! But anyway, lets get on to what this blog post is actually about!

Wayy back on the 18th June, just before my exams, I was supposed to go on a M.A.C makeup course with my mum. Unfortunately, it was cancelled late the day before. We were told we were going to be going to be contacted the next day to reschedule, but we weren't. (I still haven't heard anything and I'm not happy!) However, instead of going on this makeup course me and my mum decided to go to Westfield in Shepherds Bush.

At Westfield we had an experience like no other! We were in House of Fraser, at the Urban Decay Counter and this guy called Caleb, who works at the Urban Decay counter asked my mum if she needed any help. My mum asked if he could give a bit of information on the makeup that Urban Decay do. We were both then given the best information and insight into makeup (and specifically Urban Decay) ever!

I learnt so many things from Caleb. For example, instead of buying and using a concealer you can just double up your foundation and save yourself the money. Also, Urban Decay do a Naked Flushed palette which includes a bronzer, blusher and highlight, for just £23! Its such a good deal compared to buying them separately where they sell for around £20 each. Caleb also introduced me to the b6 spray. You spray this over your face after you've cleansed your face in the shower. Caleb told me that he had been using this for around 6 months and had really noticed a difference in his skin.

In the end I bought the b6 spray, the Naked Skin foundation, Naked flushed palette in native, the b6 spray, the famous setting spray and the new vice lipstick in weirdo. As well as all of that, Caleb gave me a freebie bag. In the freebie bag there was a load of goodies which I will take you through in a separate urban decay haul post soon! Me and my mum ended up spending a shocking £189! Eek! My mum was shocked she had spent so much and so was I! She isn't the type of person who would normally spend that much on anything, let alone makeup! She is totally amazing and I so grateful for everything she's done for me!

After House of Fraser (Caleb must have spent well over and hour with us and he paid so much attention to detail and he was so nice and we are so grateful for that!) we went to Snog frozen yoghurt which me and my mum are both in love with! I paid for this and it was amazing as always! We both had the chocolate flavour which, in my humble opinion, (lets hope its humble!) is by far the best! I always have it! Then, after our snog we went round the likes of Topshop and picked up a few items in the sale. My mum picked up a jumper on sale (which is very typical of her! Who says Wales need the EU when they've got my mother!) and I picked up pizza necklace on sale. (If you know me you know that I LOVE pizza! If you do know me and you don't know that then, who the hell are who!?)

Soon it was the end of our trip and decided to head home. When I got home me and my family all went out for pizza at a local pizza place. It was a great day I don't want to forget and I thought it would also be a great day to share with you lot on here.
