March favourites!

Hey!

So, back to my makeup favourites! I think I might just go back to the typical favourites post for everything. What do you think? But anyway, its been two months since my last makeup post and my favourite products have definitely changed!

First of all is my wake me up concealer by Rimmel London. This is a full coverage concealer and also give you a nice glow under the eyes. (if you put it there which everyone pretty much does!)

The next favourite of mine is the Palmers cocoa butter formula. This moisturiser smells amazing and is just like chocolate. This is really good for dry skin and is really thick which is especially good during the winter months.

Another favourite of mine is a perfume called Pink Sugar. I love the sweet smell! Its quite girly in my opinion so if you're not that type of person then this isn't the perfume for you. I also really love the bottle and the packaging. Its beautiful!

Next is a Rimmel London highlighter. Its the Good to Glow highlighter in the colour Notting Hill Glow. This highlighter also comes in Soho Glow and Piccadilly Glow. However, I think Soho Glow is quite dark and Piccadilly Glow is too orangey and looks like really bad fake tan. A bit like Donald Trump. Notting Hill Glow is light and sparkly which is just how a highlighter should be in my opinion. This highlighter really catches the light and sparkles. Just make sure you've fully blended it in as it isn't the easiest to blend in!

My next favourite is my most expensive favourite yet. And the most expensive makeup product I've ever bought. It's the Pure Zen lipstick by MAC. This lipstick is a really beautiful colour. It's a really soft pink, almost nude. I really love it. The packaging is amazingly beautiful. To be honest, its gorgeous and truly stunning. I need to stop drooling now!

At the moment I am really loving lipsticks and another lipstick I'm loving is surprise surprise, by Rimmel London! This lipstick is called Fancy and is part of the moisture renew collection. Its  quite shiny and sparkly.  Its also darker than my M.A.C one. However, its quite a good budget lipstick for a night out!

I have also been loving Mikey Bromley's debut album at the moment. I've actually written a whole blog post about his new album which you can check out. The songs are all totally amazing and so deserve more recognition! Mikey is seriously underrated!

Another non-makeup thing I have also been loving is Holly Hagan's autobiography, Not Quite a Geordie. I love Holly on Geordie Shore and this book is really good and honest. I love how Holly just tells it how it is and is brutally honest and frank. If you love Holly and Geordie Shore this is a good read!

That's all my favourites for this month! Let me know in the comments or on twitter what you have been loving this month! See you next time!

A busy Easter weekend!

Hey everyone!

First of all, happy late Easter everyone! Hope you've all had a lovely Easter and been lazing around eating lots of chocolate! It seems so long since I've written a blog post yet its only been a week! I've had a very busy weekend and now I feel so tired from it all! But luckily for you I have decided to get off my lazy arse and actually write a blog post about it! I'm too dedicated!

This weekend I was away in Nottingham. This was because a comedian called Russell Howard had announced a tour world tour and was doing a date in Nottingham's motorpoint arena. (also known as the Capital FM arena) As me and my dad are both big fans my dad booked tickets for the tour back in December. As we live quite far away, he also booked a hotel. However, when my dad bought the tickets he thought it was for 2016, but really, the tour was in 2017 and website hadn't stated that clearly so my dad booked a non-refundable hotel for the date this year. After he had booked the hotel he realised that the tour was a year later than first thought. So, we had a weekend away in Nottingham booked! Yay!

The weekend was fun anyway! On Friday we went to the cinema and watched My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2. It was hilarious and is definitely a good watch! Afterwards we went to Prezzos for dinner. We went shopping on Saturday and pretty much went round the whole city in one day! My feet were definitely aching afterwards! We had been out for about 6 hours! Luckily I got to relax in my hotel room afterwards! Later that evening we went out to TGI Fridays for dinner and I was very yummy!

On Sunday we came back from Nottingham. We had an early train back as there generally isn't much to do on Easter Sunday as some shops are closed. As well as that, we had gone round all the shops the day before! But that night I went to see Little Mix on their Get Weird UK tour in the O2! I only got the tickets 2 weeks ago and I've been so excited! The O2 arena is massive and the O2 in general is bloody massive! It was my second time there. My first time in the O2 was 5 years ago for Justin Biebers Never Say Never premiere! Little Mix were incredible as always. They always put on an amazing show! Support act Nathan Sykes was also incredible! He seems so humble and the fact he took a cup of tea on stage with him made me think of just how humble he really is! I also bought a  programme and a Little Mix totebag form the merchandise stand.

I've had an amazing and incredible weekend and have loved every second of it! (Ok, maybe not the aching feet though!) Life is meant to be lived and that is what I've been doing this weekend. However though, I was shattered when I got back from the O2 last night! I didn't wake up until midday today! But every so often I need to have a big lie in and have a lazy day! I hope you have enjoyed this blog post and have had a good Easter weekend. Let me know on twitter what you have done and how much chocolate you have eaten! To be honest, I haven't eaten much due to the fact that I've been so busy!

Thanks again for reading!

Hey everyone!
I thought this would be a fun post to write and would be a good way for you to get to know me a little bit better. I hope you have fun reading this!

1. Who was your first teacher?
Mrs Yonel. (Just hope I spelt that correctly!)

3. First tweet?
From @AbbeytheJCat my first tweet was about having to do maths homework which I hate! (Unfortunately I still have that problem now)
For @Abbey_Marie it was a picture of my OTP Jolly (if you don't know just google Union J jolly fgs) Please make sure you are following both accounts but the main one I tweet from is @Abbey_Mariexx at the moment. I'll will definitely let you know if it changes!

4. First detention?
My first det was back in 2014 which was in maths (how unsurprising of me) which I didn't even bother to go to! (I was being a rebel!) Surprisingly I got away with it! Not much has changed though and and I still get detentions in maths. My last one was a couple of weeks ago which I didn't go to because I was ill. (Trust me i really was!)

5. Who was your first best friend and do you still talk to her?
Her name was Christina and no, we don't talk anymore.

6. First car?
I can't drive and have to wait a couple of months until I'm legally allowed to get lessons so I don't have a car yet.

13. First celebrity crush?
Probably has to be Zac Efron when he was in High School Musical. To be honest, I still find him kinda hot!

14. First celebrity you met?
UK boyband Union J in December 2014. I was a little starstruck to say the least!

15. First holiday abroad?
Ireland when I was 4 months old. I'm half Irish and I have family over there that I go and see occasionally.

16. First time on a plane?
In 2011 when I went Venice. I'm going back this year!

17. First M&G?
It was only back in November when I went on the "An Audience with Union J" tour. It was just before George Shelley left for the jungle! I'm so gutted that he's left now!

MIkey Bromley's album, This ones for you

Hey everyone!

Recently, (admittedly way back on the 12th February, sorry for being so late with this!) UK artist Mikey Bromley released his debut solo album. It is INCREDIBLE! It is definitely one of my favourite albums at the minute!

If some of don't know or don't remember, Mikey was once a member of X Factor UK band, Only the Young. Unfortunately, they spit back in November. But Mikey didn't let that stop him from making music and now here he is with his own solo album. As well as that he went on tour all over the UK and Ireland to help promote the album and to perform it to his fans.

The songs on the album are amazing and you can really tell that Mikey loves making music and has put a lot of effort into this. The album is has a different kind of sound to most others out there at the moment, which I really like. Its refreshing to have something new and a little bit different. My favourite songs off the album are Miss J, Laugh Smile Kiss, Girl on Girl and Coca Cola. A lot, I know, but I just love this album. Its a definite must get if you haven't got it yet!
